yep well done brad, most people outside of villa with 67 goals conceeded and only a couple of clean sheets would not be able to see how the goalie ended up with player of the year but we know how good he’s been and the strength of charater hes shown. we’re very lucky he stuck with us.
p.s o’neil showed himself to be spineless in what he did re the cup final, disgraceful not only did guzan miss out but i bet friedel felt totally shit about it too.

I think we should have an annual friendly with Celtic in the pre-season to raise money for leukemia research and treatment. It’s not just about the charity side of thigs, either. It is amazing how with Martin O’Neill, Paul Lambert, and a few other players travelling between the two clubs, it takes Stan’s battle to really bring the two sets of fans together, and I would love to see it continue. Not for footballing reasons (ie player transfers) or anything, just because, it’s a small world, you know.

as our hammers visitor said the bond developed between the team this season means very few would consider a move the only question mark remains over benteke but it will take a silly money bid but there are people out there with silly money.
seems arsenal are set on remmy who will be a steal at 6m instead of paying 20+ for bentekers which would suit them.
as for guzan great he’s stuck with us, hes a good keeper getting better and was treated very badly by MON and McLeish.
i do think people are a bit harsh on given though he was my player of the season last year, by far the best of a bad bunch, the contract is ridiculous though, thanks again MON! :/
